Who can train at Earn the Edge Performance?
👟 We train all athletes ages 7and up from all sports—basketball, football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, and more. Whether your child is a beginner, doesn't play sports but wants to stay active and healthy, or already advanced, we have a program that fits.
Do you offer Team Training for Pittsburgh Area Sports?
🏀⚽️🏈 Absolutely. We partner with schools, travel teams, and club programs throughout the Pittsburgh area to provide custom team training sessions.


How long are Earn the Edge sessions?
⏱ Sessions last 60 minutes, with a mix of speed, agility, strength, and injury-prevention training.
Can my child try a session before signing up?
👟 Yes, we offer trial sessions for first-time athletes to experience our programs before committing. Sign up on the homepage to be contacted!


What is the best sports performance program in the Pittsburgh area?

What is Sports Performance Training?
Sports performance training is specialized coaching that helps athletes get faster, stronger, more agile, and more resilient. At Earn the Edge Performance, we combine strength, conditioning, movement mechanics, and injury prevention to help athletes perform at their best.


How is Earn the Edge Performance different from other gyms or trainers?
Coach Laura is licensed by the state medical board as an Athletic Trainer, a Certified Orthopedic Physician Extender, and holds certifications in Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement. That means athletes aren’t just training hard — they’re training smart, with injury prevention built into every session.
Do you help athletes prevent ACL injuries?
Yes! We specialize in ACL risk screening and prevention strategies. Every athlete learns proper landing, cutting, and strengthening techniques to lower their risk of knee injuries. Do you offer nutrition or recovery guidance?
Yes — we teach athletes the basics of fueling, hydration, sleep, and recovery so they can maximize performance on and off the field.
